Since 2011, Jan-Willem has been handling property and liability claims at Context in various production companies, distribution centers, retail companies and for investors in commercial real estate. But you can also contact him for infrastructure projects and public works. Thanks to his management skills and extensive network, Jan-Willem not only determines damage but also organizes repairs. With his know-how of complex business processes, he is regularly deployed in crisis situations to support insured parties after major losses. He does this by leading project teams and contractors for the repair of company equipment and buildings. He also acts as a project leader and representative of Owners' Associations in major renovations of apartment complexes.
Jan-Willem studied Industrial Engineering and Management at the Institute of Technology (HTS) in Tilburg. After his studies he worked from 1990 in construction companies as a project leader and plan developer. In 1995 he founded the construction management and consultancy Bocon Bouwsupport BV, where he provided advice in the field of plan development, construction technology and construction cost expertise. The office supervises new construction projects and major renovation work for a number of large clients, both in non-residential construction and residential construction. In addition to his daily work, Jan-Willem studied at Tilburg University, where he obtained his master’s degree in Real Estate in 2016.
Jan-Willem is closely involved in the energy transition in the region Hart van Brabant and has been committed to this social challenge since 2014. He is, among other things, director of wind farm De Spinder. In the little free time he has left, he likes to engage in fishing.
